RETTER, Fredrick Gordon (Fred). Passed away peacefully on 11th March 2026, surrounded by family at Totara Hospice. Dearly loved husband of Heather. Cherished father of Chris and Hayden. Loved father-in-law of Kelly and Sharon. Beloved Poppa of Cody, Anna, Lukas, Maddison and Marissa. A service to celebrate Fred's life will be held in the Kowhai Chapel, Fountains Funerals, 35 Wood Street Papakura on Thursday 19th March at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance and Totara Hospice. The service will be live streamed and available at www.fountainsfunerals.co.nz

Great memories of Fred along with my other Retter cousins from very early days until now. Fred lead the way in Engineering careers we eventually all followed He had a loving family around him until the end and fought a good fight. We will miss Fred.
