PARSONS, Frederick Rodger (Fred). Born July 07, 1947. Passed away on May 19, 2020. First son of the late Hera and William Parsons, Fred was an avid student of life; an explorer at heart; a man with gentle disposition, dedicated to Nichiren Buddhism. A loved big brother to Bob, Ted and Grant; husband to Saeko; father and grandfather to Anthony, Hina, Aroha, Sebastian, Te Hinemoa, Aya and Miwa. Till we meet again - Nam Myo Ho Renge Kyo -

My condolences on Fred's passing

I met Fred in 1969. We were both living on a kibbutz in Israel. He was a sweet, gentle man with a good sense of humor and an adventurous spirit. I thought of him recently and am saddened to have learned of his passing.
