Frederick DUDER Obituary

My deepest sympathy to Helen, Jonny, Matt and their families. I have happy memories of the times we had at Kawau, of Ross with John 'sorting out' plumbing and drainage issues and Ken keeping a close watch, of impromptu meals when we turned up in the bay on our yacht. Ross was a great guy and we valued his friendship.

Dear Helen, may God bless you and your family in this sad time
and may the loving memories of his many friends and colleagues be of consolation. I first met Nelson and Mary Duder and Roos and John many years ago at a yachting weekend at Kawau. I shall always cherish memories of Ross and his enthusiasm for the environment, the coastal processes and the amenities of Tamaki Drive. Above all was his loyalty to his family.

Was saddened to learn of Ross's passing. A true gentleman and scholar of the rural sector. I always enjoyed his company and his infectious smile.

Ross was an enthusiastic and cheerful man. I feel grateful to have been associated with him at the Selwyn Centre. I loved his talks on the Hauraki Gulf which was one of his passions. He is now at peace in the arms of his Lord.

Ross was a valued member of the National council of the then Farm Management Society I enjoyed his sense of humour always balanced by wise counsel.

Dear Helen, Matt, Johnny and families. We were sad to hear of Ross's death and wish to express our sincere love and sympathy to you all. Ross was a special friend to Neville and Glenis Westbury for many years.

Ross was an enthusiastic, cheerful and valued contributor to many agricultural events and activities throughout the country. He assisted many farmers over the years and was a valued participant in the Waikato branch of NZIPIM where his experience and wisdom was shared with colleagues.

Ross was a big part of our lives, both professionally and personally, at our Mangere farm. We will be forever grateful for his long time unwavering support and expertise in farm management and participation in the development of the rye grass.

Very sorry to hear of Ross´s passing. He has been a major contributor to the farm management profession, enthusiastic and prepared to share his knowledge over a long time. We will miss him.

I am sorry to hear of Ross' passing. I worked with him when he first started work up north and enjoyed his (always) cheerful enthusiasm and commitment for whatever he was doing.

Sorry to hear that Ross has left us. Always a great supporter of our farm management activities here in the Waikato and a gracious host when we invaded Auckland during American Cup days RIP Ross - John Sweeney (former chair of Waikato NZPIM)
