I was just sitting by the lake walking my dog and looked across the lake to the North Shore HospitalIt made me thing “I wonder if Fred is still around!?” That sparky I used to work with on the controls system in the 80’s and 90’s before the internet and things like facebook that enables us to keep in contact! so it was sad to see he had recently passed :/
Memories of long chats while waiting for slow computers to do things that took hours, his chuckle that I still remember was all too easy to earn!
Dropping a computer and printer to his house and finding a massive pendulum swinging in circular in what I think was the stairwell at the front door”What theis that Fred!? [chuckle] oh that’s just a telescope lens/mirror I am making, that pendulum is slowly grinding it to shape!
One of the nicest and most interesting people I ever worked with*sigh*
