BARCLAY, Frederick Donald. J677105 BEM, MSM RNZIR & NZSAS Passed peacefully, at Moana House, Whangamata on 19th August, 2021; aged 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Rae and much- loved father of Geoffrey, Debbie and Rachael. Adored Grandad of Leo, Sadie, Stevie, Rebecca, Mitchell, Samuel, Mathew, Stacey and Kimberly. Loving Great Grandad to Tyson, Lincoln, Daniel and Samuel Junior Dad, you were a wonderful inspiration to so many - friends, comrades , colleagues and most of all to our family Due to the current lockdown situation a private cremation has taken place and details of a Celebration of Fred's Life will be announced at a later date. One isn't usually lucky enough to have a friendship spanning 55-years with anyone, especially someone as special and wise as you. I will never forget the wonderful times our families shared together. RIP Fred, you deserve it like no other. Love to all the family. Colleen
