Jimmy STEPHENSON Obituary

STEPHENSON, Jimmy James. Died suddenly at home in Christchurch on 21 December 2025 aged 55. He was the much loved brother of Amanda and beloved uncle to Darcy and Reuben, a dear friend to Chris, and fond uncle to Jojo and Marcel. Predeceased by his mother Suzanne and brother Mark, he is remembered with love by his father, Peter and siblings Pete, Lu and Jane. Friends and family will gather in Christchurch in late January to remember Jimmy (date TBA) with a smaller service later in Auckland. The chats, laughs, heart to hearts, me and James have had over the decades since we met in `85 have, and will always be mostly fondly remembered. Really sad to hear he´s gone. I will cherish our last conversations my friend. "You can only do your best in a day, is all you can do" ... thanks James. Rest easy my friend.

Hello...I'm devastated...I just found out through a friend of a friend as I'm not on social media...Jimmy and I have been in regular touch of late talking much about life and death etc...we are old but close friends since primary school. My father used to manage the Mockers...I love him like a brother
