Fred TUCKER Obituary

Fred was the most gentle of souls and the kindest gentleman we have ever met. A man the had a good, full life. We remember Fred with so many smiles. Rest in peace old friend. With much love.

Very sad to read of Fred's passing. I enjoyed interviewing and filming him for a documentary/publishing project about WWII some years ago, and the subsequent chats on the phone since. An officer and gentleman warrior of a past age. They don't make them like that any more in NZ. My condolences to his family and friends.

You will be sadly missed Fred. Karen my wife, used to be the manager at Huntleigh, and she and I spent many a time with you and a bottle of your excellent Scotch. Be at peace Fred. It was a privilige to know you.

I was so very sad to read of your passing. I have always considered you a dear friend and some of the best times I ever had were summer holidays at your house with the whole family.
