Frazer ALLAN Obituary

ALLAN, Frazer James. Born 15 February 1966. Died suddenly in Sydney on Thursday 24 June 2021. A truly treasured man who lived so fully, achieved so much and gave it all right to the end. He blessed so many with his wide-eyed spirit - here and in Australia. In New Zealand: adored father of Sophie, Fergus and Phoebe; married for so many wonderful years to Rebecca; devoted and beloved son of Jennifer and Ron; pillar and compass to younger brother Gregor. In Australia: his wife Leith and son Felix, who loved him to bits; beloved son of and constant source of pride to Ron and Krystyna; inspirational and revered brother to Emily and Conrad. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course - and we will celebrate all that he gave us.

My heart felt Condolence to Jennifer and Ron, Ron and Krystyna and Frasers close and wider family. Especially to Gregor who looked up to Fraser and was inspired by his ambitious determination, drive, energy and high achievements. A total shock to all who knew him.

My most sincere and heartfelt condolences to all the Family and friends of this wonderful man. I was Frazer's dentist and through brief encounters recognised a man of dedication, passion and good will. Such people are rare. Frazer will dearly missed by all of us. May he rest in peace.

I was shocked to read Frasers death notice. The family were wonderful neighbours in Palmerston North. Sincere sympathy to Rebecca and family.

Working as Frazer's assistant at the University of Sydney was the best job I had. He was such a gentle soul but he also had this passion and force when it came to work which made him an impeccable leader. He taught me so much over the past year and was always an advocate for my career. We both had an extreme interest in cricket, so the banter that came with us working together was nothing but the best. I will miss his laughs, his stories, his work ethic and his presence. He has left a gaping hole in many hearts and will be missed dearly. Sending love and strength to his cherished family in NZ and Sydney.

On behalf of the Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club in Sydney that Frazer was a valued member of, I would like to express the club’s deep sadness and shock at his death. We would like to offer our condolences to all his family & friends. When we posted the news on our members’ Facebook page we were flooded with members saying how much he was valued amongst his cycling friends as a good friend, a strong rider and an impressive human being. As more than one member said: Rest In Peace big fella.

There were 3 things that drew me to Frazer initially. Aotearoa, working with animals (kind of) and his passion for cycling. I once managed to get faster than him around a certain hill with the Dulwich Hill bike club. Sympathy aroha to all family. Frazer was a lovely man and your loss will be immense.
