OUR TAMATOA PASIFIKA
An Angel of ours slipped away quietly today
In our hearts he'll always be
Whatever we were to Fraser
that we are still
By his old familiar name will we recall
how easy it was to speak with him
Never a difference in his tone
but keen with eagerness to listen with intent
Always with candid humour
a chuckle here and a hearty laugh there
Adorn yourselves friends with no false air of solemn sadness
but joke with laughter and always smile
as we remember well this Angel of ours
Hailing from Pasifika and ever so proud
Te Tamatoa a PASIFIKA
Courageously Brave, Witty & Clever and outrageously funny
Thank you for your time and unselfish kindness Fraser
for helping us your Pasifika brothers and sisters
Always on our side batting for us for another chance
Never losing sight of your love for us
Eternally grateful we will always be and
standing proud always to say that we have known thee
Our brother, our tuakana, our Matua, our teacher, our mentor, our advocate, our paraclete, our doctor, our counsellor, and our Tamatoa PASIFIKA

Without your guidance I would not be where I am today. I left school with nothing and you ignited my learning. Because of you I now hold...

Fraser - you literally light up the world with your wonderful sense of humour , your wisdom and great stories....and your favorite phrase in every training..."team, team...". What a difference you have made in our lives and you'll be forever missed.

Fraser's style was so inclusive and he loved telling stories and using metaphors, he will be sadly missed by many and it is a huge loss to Unitec that he is no longer there to help guide and share us in our learning.

Fraser, I always enjoyed listening to your many stories...they will be re-told many times over. It was an honour to know you. A great horizon awaits you at the end of the ocean. Journey well. Arohanui...The Nikolaison Family.
