At your Loss of Frank.

In 1957, my last year at high school, Frank (as we knew him) started as a dairy farm worker for our next-door neighbour in Bowlers Road Te Aroha. In those days, making hay and silage was a collaborative affair among neighbouring farmers, so thus began a friendship with Frank that endured until his unexpected death on 27th May. After Te Aroha, Frank moved to various sharemilking contracts and eventually bought his own farm. My family moved to Cambridge, but over the years we maintained our friendship with Frank, his wife Anne, and their family. Frank was a very astute farmer and it was always a pleasure to visit the places he farmed and see how well he managed them. These are among the fondest of my memories, and Frank´s death is a sad parting of our ways. My wife Gaye and I extend our sincerest sympathies to Anne, Frances, Anna, Phillip and Sally. Vale Frank Krieger. Accomplished farmer and loyal friend.
