Francis HEFFER Obituary

Several years ago , as an interested fine artist and collector of signed fighter pilot books , I ordered a copy of Ben's book , and happily received this terrific memoir written by Mr Heffer.
I am working on a portrait of Ben , in his fleet air arm days .

When finished I will get a copy off to perhaps the family.....

Very sad to hear of Ben's passing. I enjoyed over the years playing snooker at the Mount RSA with Ben and I have his autographed book "From Cow Bells to Bell Bottoms" A true War hero and Pilot. Wayne McDonald, Noosa Heads Australia.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Val, Debbie, Sandra, Judy, Graeme and all family members during this time of loss. Ben and Val are two of our most favorite people in all the world. When we moved to NZ in 2007, they were most gracious to our family and we will always be thankful for their friendship. I once told them that they were officially Bekah's Kiwi grandparents and that is still the case. We wish we were able to attend today but please know that we miss you dearly and hope for lightened hearts in the very near future. All our love, the Askews and Max the Wonder Dog!
