BORELL, Francis John (Frank). Passed away peacefully at home on 8 May 2023 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Patsy; Loved father of Frankie and Helen, Christine, Jade and Greg; loved koro of Amy, Matty, Sarah, Anarose, Wiremu, Paris and mokopuna tuarua Hiko, Rahui and Patricia. Frank will be resting at Paparoa Marae, Paparoa Road, Te Puna. Please observe COVID protocols and Rapid Tests are available at the Marae. Service to be held on Friday 12 May at 11am.

Frank was a long time friend of my father (little Tommy), since their Te Puna Rugby days and was a great comfort to Dad when he was ill in 2003 and visited him every day or two till he passed away.. He was a Pall Bearer at Dad's funeral honouring the promise they made to each other many years ago. He was also a great comfort to me on the day of the Funeral. Sending my heartfelt wishes to all Frank's whanau. Kindest regards from Ros Simmonds in Australia, daughter of Tom Allely (Builder)from Tauranga.
