Frances HENRY Obituary

HENRY, Frances Bell (nee Horner). Born November 22, 1923. Passed away on August 9, 2018. Descended from Taranaki pioneers Annie McCrostie, John Bell Thomson, Grace Bracken and Thomas Hirst. In her life a singer, teacher, mother, teacher, musician, writer, painter and ritual maker. Sadly farewelled by Marin and Michael, Beryn, Greg and family, Roseanna, Juliette and Tama. A wake will be held at 10 am on Monday, 13 August, to honour Fran. Venue is Unit 2/53A Powell Street, Avondale.

Mrs. Henry - a wonderful, helpful and very friendly staff member of Pukekohe High School during our time as pupils in the early 1960's. Fondly remembered by Brian (and the late Susie Walker - nee McWha) - presently of Oxford.
