Frances FISHER Obituary

We knew you as Aunty Pat, you were my mums best friend and my surrogate Aunt. You were the tinest of people but had the biggest fight in you ever. We feel so very proud to have known you and feel blessed that you were in our lives so long. You fought and beat cancer three times and gave my mum great strength when she fought her own battle, you were part of what kept her going.

I will miss your regular phone calls where we would chat about the latest news and my family, you always asked about Luke and Matt and "Trump" has been talked about quite a lot too :). I will miss you missing my mum as you would often talk about her on our calls and say how much you missed her.

We will miss the special lunches with you, Alan and Carol, times where we shared memories of Graham, mum and others lost to us.

I cannot believe your not here any more Aunty Pat but we know you are not in pain and I believe you will be looking down on us with all your friends beside you.

The boys feel very sad and also will miss you a lot, Christmas time will never be the same without you but we will remember you fondly and have a glass of wine for you :). Poppy misses you also, she wandered through the house wondering where you were the other day. She loved to go and see you too.

Our heart goes out to Alan and Carol at this time and we pray that God gives you the strength to get through this. Don't think of those last weeks of struggle, think of the times your mum was strong as that is how she would want to be remembered. Remember the parties mum used to have and Pat and Margaret and Mum would dress up and entertain us all. Those were the times that Pat would want us to think about and time spent at Pt Chev beach where she and mum and Margaret loved to go.

We will miss you, we loved you and life will never be the same without you, it feels almost like loosing my mum all over again.
