Crystal Seel for the St. Andrew's Opportunity Shop

March 3, 2025

Flo was a precious friend to those of us working in the St. Andrew's Opportunity Shop in Howick. For years she worked hard in the Depot sorting and pricing goods and always took with her what she called 'homework' to keep on the job during the week. She checked all the jigsaws for missing pieces, assessed the suitability of old videos, looked after the jewellery, preparing it for display and pricing and bleaching and bringing goods back to their original good condition. Flo and Glenda worked in the Shop on Saturday mornings and I suspect she really enjoyed that.
Will there be someone to do all the things for the Shop that she used to do? That person will be hard to find and they certainly are not likely to have the enthusiasm and lovely smile she always presented.
Flo always showed interest and concern in our lives and families.
We sadly say goodbye to our friend, our love going with you as you rest in peace.
