Flora ROSE Obituary

ROSE, Dr Flora. Surrounded by love, on December 10th, with family at her side, aged 99, Flora joined her beloved Ben, dearest brother Julian and sisters-in- law Jean and Patricia. Born in London, of Scottish and French descent, Flora and Ben moved across the world to Rotorua in 1953. Maman to James, Tim and Toby, mother- in-law to Marie. 'Magand' to 10 grand-children, 10 great- grand-children (another due any day) and 1 great-great- grand-daughter. A hard-working doctor, devoted to her many patients for over 40 years, both in UK and NZ. An avid bird lover and traveller of the world, well into her 90s! Our wise old owl takes her final flight. I would like to offer our condolences to the family of my Mom Jeanne´s cousin. She was very fond of Flora and treasured their regular correspondence. She was always happy to stay connected and hearing about the Rose family. She is 94 now and I know will be saddened by this news. May God Bless your family and God Bless Flora´s soul. May you find peace and solace in the love and memories you share.

Marvellous woman, remembered with love and respect by staff who worked with her at Tokanui Hospital. She was a lovely person, condolences to her family and friends.
