Fiona CARRUTHERS Obituary

CARRUTHERS, Fiona Louise (Dr). On October 16th 2021, peacefully, aged 53. Beloved partner of Peter King, cherished daughter of Muriel and the late Ian Carruthers, and adored sister of Catherine and Alastair. Dearly loved daughter- in-law of Bob and Jean King. Much loved sister -in-law of Chris Wheeler, Peter Gordon, Murray and Fleur King, Susan and Grant Ryan, and loved auntie of Peter, Annaliese, Mitchell, Emma, Sophie, and Sarah. A private farewell for Fiona will take place on Wednesday in keeping with current restrictions. The Carruthers and King families sincerely thank Dr Richard Sullivan, Dr John Carter, Dr Roderick Mulgan, the clinical staff and support team at Remuera Rise, and Fiona's numerous carers and friends who loved and assisted her for many years. She lived a wonderful and accomplished life in NZ, Australia and Switzerland and was courageous, amusing, gracious and inspirational throughout.
