ZENCIC, Fila (nee Curin). Born March 25th 1930, in Gdinj, Hvar. It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Fila, aged 94 on the 1st December 2024. Our beautiful courageous mother who was so loved and cherished by all, passed peacefully with her 6 daughters by her side Dearly loved wife of the late Ivan, much adored mum of Marija, Grace and Mark, Lorraine, Carol, Stacy, Sandy and Leo. Best Baba to Nicholas and Josephine, Andre and Hannah, Carl and Kirsty, Benjamin and her only granddaughter Alexandra. Pra Baba to Freddie, Maxwell, George and Ottilie. Heartfelt thanks to Dr Peter Botica, her wonderful careers Lily, Eleanor and Leni who have provided Fila with ongoing daily care and love. We also thank Elizabeth Knox Home and Hospital for the support and care in Filas final days. Mama we are so grateful for your love and everything you have done for us, we love you and will never forget you. Mir Mir Do Neba Pocivala U Miru Bozjem A celebration of Fila's life will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 27 Telford Ave, Mt Eden ( extra parking Volcanic St, Mt Eden ) on Monday 9 December at 11.00 am followed by placement in the family Mausoleum.
