Fay HAYWARD Obituary

HAYWARD, Fay Mary. August 02, 1934 to April 02, 2023 at The Booms Care Home, Thames. Dearly loved eldest daughter of the late Hugh and Ita, loved sister of Phyllis, Lorraine, Bill and Marta, Diane Law, Frank and Elaine, Kitty and Dave Burton, Kevin (deceased) and loved aunt of 13 and their families. A wonderful daughter, sister, auntie, friend, teacher, coach and cheerful companion, Fay loved being part of and contributing to her community. Requiem Mass for Fay will be held on Thursday 6 April at St Paschal's Church, 56 Pipiroa Road, Ngatea, 3503 at 11 am. Rosary will be recited in the church on Wednesday 5 April at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Fay's name to St Johns ambulance, online, or left at the church, would be greatly appreciated. Such fond memories of the Hayward family from the family Guy Fawkes nights as kids, school friendships, and our hockey days with the Hayward girls. Fay was a beautiful soul - my sympathy to the family.
