BERGIN, Reverend Father John. (Respected Priest of the Catholic Diocese, Hamilton.) Passed away peacefully at Atawhai Assisi Home & Hospital on Saturday 9 March 2013. Aged 87 years. Loved son of the late Michael and Bridie Bergin. Dearly loved brother of Bridie and Nan (Kilkenny, Ireland) and Martin (London). Brother of Lily, Michael, Paddy and Stephen (all deceased). Loved uncle of all his nephews and nieces. Vigil prayers will be celebrated at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Burgess Street, Te Aroha on Tuesday 12 March at 7.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Columba Catholic Church, 50 Rifle Range Road, Frankton, Hamilton on Wednesday 13 March at 12 noon followed by interment in the Ohaupo Catholic Cemetery, State Highway 3, Ohaupo.
