A wise and loving man, greatly missed. Lucian was a good supporter of the Anglican Franciscans (Society of St Francis)and his warmth and welcome were always much appreciated. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

I came to know your kindness thru a good friend Adam Greenwell. You have inspired many, May you RIP and God be with you always..

ARMSTRONG, Fr. Lucian OFM (Alan). Peacefully at Mercy Parklands, Ellerslie, Auckland on Sunday 28th April 2013. Dearly loved eldest son of Gladys and John Brooke Armstrong. Very special big brother of the late Fr. Michael Armstrong and Mary Urwin and brother-in-law of the late Noel Urwin. Much loved uncle of Christina and Eric, Teresa and Hamish, Philip and Megan, and Andrew. Loved Great Uncle Alan of Mellainey and Elleana, Maxine and Felix, Aden, Lara, Luke and the late Jack. He touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. We all have treasured memories to cherish. Rest in Peace.
