Thank you God for such a loving, protective and caring father who shared so much and loved so much. He was well respected at Mangere PIC (Pacific Islanders Presbyterian church), within our extended families and friends. He loved and served our God well and did not speak ill of others. He loved his children, grandchildren and their spouses without faulting them. He left a legacy that of faith, hope and love both in Samoa and New Zealand. I hope to continue on in his legacy and path and thank you God for sending such a father as him into my life for which I will be forever grateful for. Such an appreciated blessing.

To Dear Lemoe, children and families. We are so deeply sorry for your loss of your beloved Faalavaau Fasavalu, Dad and Papa. Our hearts and thoughts are with each of you and especially those of the children who cannot be there with you; who are bereft, due to the pandemic, from grieving with and loving you from afar. Our prayer is that you will each and together, know the love and comfort of our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus. We also are strained in not being able to be there, and we send you our deepest love and sympathies. Farewell Faalavau, my dear and loving eldest brother. While your departure has left a void in our hearts and lives. You will forever be missed and adored with wonderful memories filled with so much laughter. You have left a void in our aiga yet you invested time and energy in passing on the baton of loving and serving God first, then family and community. I'm so glad I got to tell you at Mama's funeral how much I love and appreciate you. I wish there had been more time to talk about how much you impacted my life as my big brother and protector through all the years, but I think you knew that in your wisdom and discernment, just like Mama. Love you always. Manuia lou malaga. Until we meet again, Saini, Paul and Oskar
