My sympathy to Min and all Evan's family. I had the pleasure to met him while working at Chatswood, heaps of advices to travel with my children and always kind and smiling, a person I'll always remember. God bless you all and give you the strength in this sad moment.

Skilled and humble in every way, Tap Tap was recognised by countless yachties around NZ and the Pacific, with an intelligent brain to the end. Evan will be missed by so many and his legacy of outstanding knowledge and humour will not be forgotten.
Sincere sympathy to Min...you were an amazing partnership to the end but you will be relieved to know the anchor is up and Evan is floating unhindered.

A quote from a sailing magazine of years ago
"One of the few men I know, to whom I could hand over the Helm on a windy night, then go below and sleep soundly. Evan to a "T". God Bless

To Min and family and Jim, Kaye and family. We are so sorry to hear about Tap Tap. We have fond memories of him over the years through sailing connections. We often talk of his impromptu singing at our wedding. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.
