Promoted to glory, on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at her home with family by her side, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of Barry Whitehead (Carrie- Ann), Susan Whitehead (Marty), and Linda Bryant (Mike). Loved grandmother of Stacey, Lindsey, Jay, Ian, Stephen, Reyelle, Jaden, Carla, and great-grandmother of Austin, Calum, Juliana, Liliana, Logan, Carter, Cash and Evan. Dear sister of Irene Brown. Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St., Bowmanville, on Thursday, September 8 from 6 - 8 p.m. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, at the Salvation Army Bowmanville Community Church, 75 Liberty Street South, at 11 a.m. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Foundation "Cancer Centre" or to the Salvation Army in Bowmanville.
