Eva Seelye Obituary

SEELYE, Dr Eva Ruth (Eve) (nee Hersch). Passed away peacefully on 12 November 2010 in Auckland City Hospital, aged 81 years. At rest with her beloved Ralph. Loved only child of the late Dr Hans and Tuekla Hersch. Highly respected former Director of Greenlane Department of Anaesthesia. Much loved colleague, neighbour and trusted friend. Her sharp wit was with her to the end. A service to celebrate Eve's life will be held in the Maclaurin Chapel, Auckland University, 18 Princes Street, Auckland City at 2.00pm on Wednesday 24 November 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mercy Hospice, PO Box 47693, Ponsonby, would be greatfully appreciated. Her wish was that others could benefit from the same care and support Ralph and she received from her friends at Mercy Hospice.
