Eunice LIMPUS Obituary

LIMPUS, Eunice Ethel. Promoted to Glory on 5 November 2022 at Auckland Hospital, aged 101. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Janice, Grant and Pam. Much loved "Marm" of Wade and Anita, Claire and Mike, and great grandmother of Finn and Cameron. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, may legions of Angels greet her. May she be conducted to a place of refreshment, light and peace. A Service of thanksgiving will be held at The Salvation Army, Auckland City Corps, 18 Allright Place, Mt Wellington at 11 am on Thursday 10 November to be followed by a private cremation.

I will always remember the welcome to Auckland Congress Hall that Bill and Eunice gave to Elizabeth and myself in 1979, newly married and moving to Auckland from Wellington. And then along came our children over the years and Eunice, along with Janice, absolutely doted on them. It was a great pleasure to see her again just a month before her 100th, still looking beautiful and immaculate in her uniform, and so vibrant. A Saint of the church whose example of the way to live life will be forever remembered. Love to Janice and Grant, Philip Mills, Sydney
