Esther KIDDELL Obituary

KIDDELL, Esther Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Edwards). Passed away peacefully on 30th May 2024. Loved wife of the late Peter Kiddell. Cherished Mum and Mum in Law of Stephen, Laraine, Jeffrey and Karen. Much loved Grandma and Great Grandma to all her Grandchildren. A service will be held at St David's in the Fields Church, 202 Hillsborough Road Auckland on Saturday 8th June at 11am. Followed by private cremation.

Very sad to hear of Betty's passing. I will always remember that regardless of what we may have been up to there was always a welcoming smile and normally the day's baking on offer at Hibiscus. For those of us from football 'Betty's Canteen' was legendary. I wonder how many thousands of toasties she produced over the countless hours she gave to the club.
She will be fondly remembered by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. - Jelly
