Esther - a truly beautiful, loving human being who will be forever remembered. May she rest in the peace she so richly deserves.

Sending much love to the family and close friends of Esther. It was always a pleasure to see her from time to time over the years at events with my extended family. She truly brought joy to the world. I remember the kindness in her eyes as she presented me the Paul Kemp award at high school, a link through her friendship with my parents. May she rest in peace.

I was so sad to read of the passing of dear Esther. I got to know Esther when her husband Paul was a teacher at Avondale College. Paul used to say to me that Esther and I could be cousins and it was only after Paul passed on that I found that we were indirectly related through her Hayward grandfather. After Cyril and I had both left Avondale College in the 1970's, Esther became friends with Cyril's Aunty Olive and so for many years we got to hear of Esther and Olive's friendly outings. I send loving thoughts to Esther's family. Esther was a kind, thoughtful and loving person always ready to help others. She is now free from pain and reunited with Paul and her son. Love and hugs from Noeleen Guillard. (Cyril passed on in 2014.)
