DOWDEN, Ernest Raymond (Ray). Aged 87 on the 2nd January 2013 peacefully at Sprott House. Dearly loved husband of Madge and loving and respected father and father- in-law of David and Christine, Michael and Shirley, Anne and Angus and Timothy and Anne- Marie and loving Grandoc of Kate, Sam, Isi, Pete, Robbie, Timothy, Dan, Fiona, Joel, Matthew, Abby and the late Benjamin. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Dear Madge and Family
I was very sad to learn of the passing of Ray and would like to offer my sincere condolences to you all.
Ray was a wonderful father to you all - treasure the memories and the fun times you all had together - very special.
Ray was very special and helpful to me over many years through the Rotary Club of Wellington.
I am sorry I am unable to join you tomorrow to farewell Ray.
