Erna Rittaler Obituary

RITTALER, Erna Louise December 19, 1919 - November 19, 2010 Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Will be greatly missed by her daughter Judi Jenvey (Peter), granddaughter Leah Kullman (Graham), great granddaughter Karis Kullman, brother Walter Miller and sisters Edna and Elsie Assman, many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service December 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., Zion Lutheran Church, 5950 - 179 St., Cloverdale, B.C.

I have wonderful memories of the times I spent at the Rittaler home in South Vancouver with their daughter Judi and other friends in the 1960’s.
We had great evenings watching Sunday night movies and Ed Sullivan on TV in the rec room during our teen years.
I also enjoyed hearing Erna’s stories about my Dad Rudy and his Brothers during their early Saskatchewan days.
The Rittaler family welcomed us all, and Erna’s cakes and cookies were always a hit.
