Lee Hixenbaugh Obituary

Lee O. Hixenbaugh, of Belle Vernon, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, in Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was a son of the late Herman and Alverta Roberts Hixenbaugh. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Lee had been employed by Koppers Industries, Monessen plant and the former Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel Company. Survivors include his wife, Ella Pearl Chambers Hixenbaugh; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Laurie and Robert Freado, of McMurray, Vernie Altobelli, of California, Pa., Vickie and Raymond Murray, of Aliquippa, and Suzan and Scott Page, of Belle Vernon; one brother, Roy Hixenbaugh, of Belle Vernon; and eight grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Freado, Nicole Naulty, Ashley and Adam Murray, and Shannon, Krystal and Joshua Page. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Hewitt and Jean Shook. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, a Golden Rule Member Firm, www.fergusonfuneralhomeandcrematory.com, (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the Free Methodist Church, 401 Second St., Monongahela on Monday, May 7 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
