Eric FORBES Obituary

FORBES, Eric William. Passed away on Sunday 15 July 2018; happy in the knowledge that his special place "Connage" will be well cared for; aged 73. Dearly loved husband and best mate of Kath. Loving father of Geordie and Jenny, Rob and Kat; and adored Pa to Connor and Kayla, Emma, Kristin, Charlie, Kyla, Dougie and Pippa. A Celebration of Eric's life will be held at the Whangarei Club, 18 Rust Ave, Whangarei on Saturday 21st July at 2.00pm.

Our condolences to Kath and family for the loss of a truly wonderful man. Eric was a real gentleman who possessed a number of wonderful gifts, the most important being Eric's ability to communicate with people from all walks of life.
Sorry we cannot be with you to celebrate a life lived to its fullest.
RIP Eric, you will be remembered as one of life's true gentleman.

Dear Kath and family,

So very sorry to hear of Eric's passing.
It was so wonderful of you both to invite us in to your home for the "Forbes Reunion" back in 2003 and to be able to meet all the family.

Words cannot express our sadness at this time, Eric was one of life's true gentlemen.

His life was a blessing, and his memories he has left you all will be a treasure....
