BREWIN-BROWN, Eric Selwyn (Brownie). Service Number: NZ64329 Aged 92 years young. On Friday 24th February 2012 . Passed away peacefully at home in Dairy Flat. Surrounded by his family and his loving niece Jan. Dearly loved husband of Josephine. Loving father of Khim, Eric (PJ) Shelley and Heather. Loved grandfather of Andrew, Lance, Paul, Jamie, Morgan (Poppy), Rueben, Sasha and Gabriel. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed. Rest in peace. The family would like to thank Eric's Doctor and the Hibiscus Hospice for their wonderful care. Many wonderful memories we will cherish and hold onto forever. A service for 'Brownie' will be held at Silverdale & Districts RSA, 43A Vipond Road, Stanmore Bay on Tuesday 28th February at 10.00 am. Special thanks to Doctors and Nursing Staff for their wonderful care. All communications to 61 Kahikatea Flats Road, Dairy Flat or PO Box 305, Whangaparaoa, Auckland.

Brewin-Brown, Eric 24 February 2012 I often thought of Eric and the family - for a period of my life they were my other family - not many would take on a neighbouring girl with issues as well as her horse - forever i will be greatful for your kindness and support during this time. Last week dad mentioned that Eric was poorly - i had no idea as Eric was always going to go on forever -this morning i woke up and made the decision to call around today to let him know how much i appreciated his support when i was growing up. To Jo - Khim - PJ - Shelly and Heather - my heart and thoughts are with you all and your dad will always be in my memories - i remember the time he told us off for inapporpriate chatter in the kitchen and when we went and got our ears piersed without asking - he will be sadly missed.
