Emma Shuster Obituary
Emma M. (Latine) Shuster, 89, of Clairton, died peacefully on Friday, June 17, 2005, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Jefferson Hills. She was born Oct. 15, 1915, in the Patch, Large, to the late Antonio and Anna (Fragassi) Latini and also was predeceased by her husband, Martin W. Shuster, who died Sept. 2, 1988, and brothers, Michael "Lucky," Samuel "Sam," Salvador "Suto" and Oliver "Tex." Mrs. Shuster was a retired seamstress/saleswoman/office cashier for Richmond Brothers clothing store, part of the Woolworth Corp. Century III Mall. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Clairton; the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Sons of Columbus Genova Council 6. She graduated from Community College of Allegheny County with an associate of applied science degree in general study in 1976 and an associate of arts degree in performing arts in 1980. Surviving are sons Bill M. Shuster, of Bellevue, Wash., Bob A. Shuster, of Clairton, with whom she resided, and Bruce N. (Cathy) Shuster, of East Amherst, N.Y.; granddaughters Shelly (Michael) Hefty, of Spanaway, Wash., Christine (Jeff) Hancock, of San Diego, Calif., and Kelly, Sally and Nicole Shuster, of East Amherst; great-grandchildren Matthew and Megan Hefty, of Spanaway; sister Frezia Helgeson, of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada, and nieces and nephews. At her request, Emma was cremated on Sunday, June 19. There will be no services. Cards of condolence may be sent to Bob Shuster, 927 Waddell Ave., Clairton, PA 15025. Arrangements by the S.M.
