Elva DIXON Obituary

DIXON, Elva Anne (nee Preston). Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Taranaki Base Hospital, New Plymouth, on Friday May 1, 2015, aged 72 years. Much loved and cherished wife of the late Arthur, adored mum and mother in law of Paul and Leanne, Mark and Julie, Maree and Phill, adored Grandma to Rhys, and Luke; Jamie, and Kendall. Gary and Mert, loved big nana to Josh and Amy, Michelle (deceased), Steven and Michelle, Jessica and Cam, Joel, and Nathaniel. Messages to www.heavenaddress.co.nz. In lieu of flowers donations to St. John Ambulance would be appreciated and can be left in the Chapel foyer. A service for Elva will be held in the Chapel of W. Abraham 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Thursday May 7, 2015, at 10.30am followed by private cremation.

To Paul, Mark, Maree and families. Our thoughts are with you all at this very sad time. We were shocked when we got the call to hear of such a beautiful ladies passing. We share in your grief only having to experience the same for our Mum just weeks ago. One thing we know for sure, is the wine bottles would have been popped by now and three friends once again have been reunited.

Terribly sorry to read of the passing of Elva, she was a lovely lady, and spent a lot of time with Elva and her sisters when we were growing up. Will be sadly missed by all who knew her. My thoughts go out to all Elva's family.
