I am Fay´s sister-in-law, married to Don, John´s older brother in the UK. Although we didn´t see Fay and John very often there were lots of phone calls, cards, letters and photos. I will remember Fay as being a warm, welcoming, happy lady who was immensely proud of all her family who she loved dearly and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be sorely missed but is with John, Don and Mike listening to all the McKee stories and jokes. Rest in peace Fay until we all meet again. With much love Anne xxx

Dear Whanau of Elsie, whom has been known to me only as Fay.
My parents were dear friends of Fay´s parents, and so I was named after Fay. That has given me a sense of connection to her throughout life. She must have been a very special young person at that time, to be so esteemed to my family. I send my heartfelt condolences to you all. With love, Faye Gorman.
