Well Nana...you weren't going to go without a fight...but you are finally at peace....and this is such a huge relief to all of us who love you. What makes you very special to us....is that you had huge boots to fill...being our only living grandparent from the time I was 5....and you have done an amazing job. We will miss your sparkle.....your humour.....your tricks (including rubber lamingtons)....your sayings...your unconditional love.....let's face it.....we will miss you full stop...we miss you already.

Goodbyes are not forever
Goodbyes are not the end
They simply mean
I'll miss you Nana
Until we meet again

We've been blessed to have you with us for so long....it's now Poppa Gordon's turn for some quality time with "his Elsie" ....he has waited 46 years to ask you for the next waltz....

Love you Nana Elsie

Will always remember your sense of humour and fun times shared, especially those spongy Lamingtons.
