Elsa LAING Obituary

LAING, Elsa Peacefully at Oakwoods Richmond on October 14, 2025. Aged 97 yrs. Loved Sister of Jessie Hansen (Thames) and Aunt of Jenn, Gail, Peter (deceased), Ray, Neil, and Christine. Great Aunt of Sharon, Andrea, Richard, Zastra, Megan, Kat, Fraser, Lisa, and Matt. Great Great Aunt of Malie, Cora, Tui, Mahe, and Ribo. Elsa had a personally rewarding nursing career, and was an adventurous, well researched traveller, photographer, and tramper. Donations to Nelson Hospice would be appreciated. Sincere thanks to the Oakwoods staff for their care. 'Kahurangi has called her to its forests and peaks.'
