McLEOD, Ella Margaret (nee McEwan) (QSM JP). Founder of Wellington Hospital Volunteers (Pink Ladies). Peacefully at Huntleigh Hopsital on 20 June 2011, in her 90th year. Dearly loved wife and friend of Colin for nearly 65 years. Loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Jan and Euan Galloway; Rod and Joy; the late Heather, and Steven Northover. Gran to Alastair and Kim, Richard and Gretchen and Malcolm; Scott and Justine, Annabelle-Kate and Blair and Evie; Hannah, Blake and Ella. Great Gran to a dozen great grandchildren. Ella's funeral service will be held at St Ninian's Uniting Church, cnr Karori Road and Newcombe Crescent, Karori, Wellington at 11.00am on Friday 24 June 2011 followed by private cremation.
