Elizabeth WARDE Obituary
WARDE, Elizabeth Jennifer. 1945-2024 Elizabeth Jennifer Warde, 79, passed away peacefully on Christmas morning. A talented artist, clothing designer and passionate swimmer, Elizabeth's creativity and warmth touched many lives. Beloved mother of Xanthe and Toban, mother-in-law to Laura, and adored nana to Lachlan and Evelyn, she brought joy and inspiration to all who knew her. A memorial will be held at 3 pm, 23rd January, at the Mairangi Art Centre Church Hall, 327 Beach Rd, Campbells Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations to Harbour Hospice are appreciated. Elizabeth was my boss and interviewed me for the job I'd applied for at St Johns Theological College. She was a very stylish woman, enjoyed similar movies to me and was easy to strike up conversation with. We both enjoy ocean swimming and her daughter had studied veterinary science as did my son. I feel quite shocked by the news and sad for her family, especially her dear wee Lachlan, who she spoke fondly of. Condolences to the family and pets!
