We will always remember Bessie with great fondness. She was a great help when our daughter Bri was born and with both grandparents living out of town. I know Mum and Dad would like to add their condolences too. They are overseas or I know they would write themselves.

PATTERSON, Elizabeth (Bessie) (n?e Lihou). Peacefully after a long illness at San Michele Hospital, Te Awamutu on 14 March 2017, aged 83. Beloved wife of the late Arthur, loved mother and mother-in-law of Carolyn and Rodd (Auckland). "Finally able to join Dad, forever in our hearts, rest easy Lillabet."

PATTERSON, Elizabeth Parekahuki (Bessie) (nee Lihou). Passed away 14 March 2017 at Te Awamutu. Eldest child of Rangitaapua and Henry John Lihou (late of Te Kuiti). Dearly loved sister and sister in law of Henry and Norah Lihou (deceased), Lily and Don McKinley (deceased) and Joe Dougherty (deceased), Queenie and George Harris (deceased), Linda Katipa- Cudby and Roger Cudby, Denis Lihou (deceased) and Kay White-Lihou, Marie and Ray (deceased) Taylor, Edwina and Edward Ruwhiu, Florence Thomas, Deliah Clark, Richard Waitapu, and David Waitapu (deceased). Lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and grandies.
