Elizabeth McPHERSON Obituary

McPHERSON , Elizabeth Louise (nee Greenland). Passed away peacefully on 7 February 2025 after a short illness. A beloved wife to the late Roy, much loved mother to Duncan and Simon and grandmother to George and Finn. A private cremation will take place. The memorial service will be held at 2.00pm on Thursday 20 February at Purewa Cemetery, All Saints Chapel, with a reception afterwards at the Purewa St John's lounge.

I only saw Beth a few times in the 19 years since I met her at Matt and Allison's wedding but she was a special and treasured friend. I will miss her and will keep her memory close to my heart. God bless you.

I worked with Elizabeth - or Liz - as we called her, in Auckland at Buddle Weir, Solicitors in the 70s when she worked for David Rishworth. She was a popular member of staff and I am sorry to hear of her passing.

Elizabeth and I lived close to each other in the 1960s at Stoke, Nelson. We were in the same Glengowan marching team and in 1965 roomed together attending the South Island Marching Championships in Christchurch, a big adventure for us young ladies. They were happy days. I am sad to learn of her passing. My condolences to Elizabeth's family.
