Elizabeth MACKAY Obituary

MACKAY, Elizabeth Maureen (Libby) Left us peacefully on 16th July 2015, at home surrounded by her loving family and garden, in her 73rd year. Cherished wife of Dougal, loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Cathy and Nick, Chrissy, Debbie, Ian and Martha, and special Grandmother of Kale, and Nana of Ben, Sam, Verity, Lauren and Matt. Dearly loved by us all, you left us with treasured memories. Thanks to Franklin Hospice, Auckland Hospital Oncology Dept. and the Waiuku Medical Centre for their care. In memory of Libby, donations to the Franklin Hospice Charitable Trust, PO Box 118, Pukekohe would be most appreciated. A service for Libby will be held at St Andrews Church, 85 Queen St, Waiuku, on Monday 20th July at 1.30 pm followed by private cremation.

To Libby's family deepest sympathy I have just found out of Libby's passing today a great shock. Deepest regret for not keeping in touch. A great work colleague and friend, all will be shocked to hear of her passing. I worked with Libby at the REhab center at Bairds Road, running groups and taking groups away camping I think you came too Kale to some of them. A lovely nana and mom. Condolences to all of you
