Elaine, you were the best neighbour to me and my parents, you were always there for a quick chat over the fence or a long chat with a cuppa in the garden.
You have been a dear friend to me for over 40 years and I will miss not being able to visit you on my trips back to Auckland.
Thank you for your love and support when my parents passed, you will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Elaine

Rest in Peace Aunty, you had a great life with both Mum (Joy) and dad (Ewen)
it was a lovely send off hearing from your lovely family, seeing the flowers, the last one to go in our family (McLennan's) hopefully a family member will keep us all informed as Wayne has said.
will miss your mobile call's and hearing about what your family are doing.
have fun up in heaven with uncle Rae and all our family member's, you will be looking over all your family.
Thank you for your mobile facetime call's after both Kevin and Shane sad times.
love you and blessing to you

Aunty Elaine ... love you.
My fondest memories of you are your sense of fun and your laugh and how welcoming you always were.. right to the end we still had a laugh together..
You especially made welcome Julie and our kids ... we always felt the we could "pop in" any time and I certainly enjoyed our catch ups ... in earlier years on the Gold Coast when you were on your "business trips" (I never asked, but I'm guessing that was at the courtesy of The Power Board?) and latterly on the phone.
My thought is 'now who's going to keep us updated with NZ and the goings-on in the families?
You were a special person whose insights and personality I've enjoyed for over 70 years and we are going to really miss you.
God speed.
Love to everyone.
Wayne & Julie and family.
