There are many life long memories growing up in Papakura in a small farming community when neighbours were like family. The Croskery´s were one of those families, children referred to grown ups as Aunty´s & Uncle´s.
There were many occasions for our families, 21sts, bonfires on the hill, picking blackberries or just enjoying each others company. Remembering the good times when everyone helped one another on the farm and in the home.
Elaine will be loved and remembered always by the Duckworth family.

I am Elaines cousin and left n.z. in 1971 to come to Perth in Australia to live. We did talk or email every day with out fail, we chattered about was happening in N.Z and what was happening over here in Perth Elaine was the most fantastic person, always ready to help people as much as she could, and adored Sarah and Ross, and off course later on their families too. she came to Perth on quite a few occasions, a couple of times just knocking on the door, O>M>G> what a surprise that was, Recently she did a trip with my sister Susan, of whom she was very close as they both were the same age, around the North Island, they had a wonderful time, and then my lovely sister got cancer and passed away They will meet again in heaven, I am sure of that and will have many laughs
