Eileen RICHARDS Obituary

RICHARDS, Eileen Teresa (nee Quickenden). Peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle on Friday 11th July 2014 in her 83rd year. Loved and cherished wife of Skip. Dearly loved Mum and mother in law of Shirley and Kevin Johns (Bell Block), Brian and Teresa (Oakura), Karen and the late Russell Lee (Ongarue), Lorraine and Ian Willis (Waitara), Robyn and Ian Parker (Sydney). Devoted Nana, Nanny and Grandma of her 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. “With tears we saw you suffer, we watched you fade away. Our hearts were slowly breaking, as you fought so hard to stay, you did eventually leave us, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.� In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Taranaki would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Nelson Street, Waitara on Wednesday 16th July, 2014, at 1.00pm. Burial at Waitara Cemetery to follow.
