Eileen FORSTER Obituary

FORSTER, Eileen Margaret. 9 July 1931 to 24 June 2024. An extraordinary mother who raised her 5 children singlehandedly with her incredible parents and sister at her back. She confronted and overcame every obstacle and challenge that stood in the path of her and her family. She was the rock, the foundation on which we all based our lives and she gave us the values with which to live by. She loved and was loved by us all, her children and their partners, grandchildren great grandchildren, cousins friends and by all the wonderful staff who cared for her these last years at Whitianga Continuing Care and lastly "LIttle Dog". So mum we love you to the moon and back riding all the way on Thunderbird 2... The Rosary will be recited at St Patrick's Catholic Church, 16 Campbell Street, Whitianga on Monday 1st July, at 5pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at the above church on Tuesday 2nd July, at 11am, with interment at Mangere Lawn Cemetery, 85 McKenzie Road, Mangere, Auckland approximately 3pm.
