11 years ago.. and my family still think of you. Thank you for everything you did for us. Thank you for being the most awesome Doctor and friend. Still missed.

Dr brosnan I had no idea of your passing untill now I thought I'd look U up as I've been abit sick and thought of you even though Ive been enrolled into a different doctors for over twenty years now but none have never compared or could make me feel better and safe as U made me my brother and mum would feel from Ur caring soul how I wish you had met my kids and cared for them the way U cared for me my brother and my mum. My heart is broken to no you are now in heaven plz no I'm so grateful for you and I truly appreciate U and miss U heaps may U rest in peace love U doctor Brosnan Maureece

Missing a wonderful dear Friend and Doctor,

Dr. Brosnan, we were so blessed to have met you and the palliative care you bestowed on Trevor during his last months. You managed to put a smile on his face when you entered the room, that was in 2004. We were blessed twice to have you look after mum in 2009 at Totara Hospice as well. My condolences and prayers for Eileen's family. Although I didn't know her but only through one brief phone call and an email regarding our Centenary. I am so grateful to Eileen for her mentoring during her time at Totara Hospice, she taught me so much from her vast experience in Palliative care. I was so pleased to have so recently worked with her again ay Hospice West Auckland.
Eileen showed my father-in-law Tom such compassion during his stressful periods whilst an inpatient at Totara; a visit from Salty did more for him that any medication.
She was a neighbour and I will miss our curbside chats. Rest in peace Eileen

A greatly respected and loved friend of the Davies and Turner Families. Will always be remembered for her care, love and support in the passing of her best friend Mary and her 'second' mother Roberta Davies. Gone too soon. Rest in peace.

'Dr Broz' was the most amazing GP you could ever have. She was present at the birth of both our kids. If you were really sick, as I was once, she rang in the evening to ask how I was.She visited the kids with her dog Satch at Easter with a basket of Easter eggs in his mouth. We went on holiday to the Bay of Islands with her twice and had an amazing time, she hid Easter eggs in the graveyard where the bunnies were..the kids loved her..she had great wine...such great memories of a very very special person who gave so much. We were so sorry to read of Eileen's death. She was a wonderful godmother to our daughter Kathryn. She adopted our labrador - and spoilt him rotten! RIP. Dawn and Bruce Hunter Christchurch.

Twenty three years ago you became our GP when we were expecting our oldest son, Dylan. You were also there for us when we had Seb two years later. We fondly remember how you always gave the boys a few jelly beans and a cuddle after each appointment. You were more than a GP, we thank you for your friendship, compassion, care and love over the years.

Eileen recently became part of the Hospice West Auckland team working in the Kowhai Suite and in the community; it was wonderful seeing her link again with the staff here, many of whom have known her in other times and other places!
She has cared for innumerable patients and their families, trained and mentored many, and touched the lives of so many people in more ways than one!
She will be sadly missed, on behalf of the team at Hospice West Auckland.

When we met Eileen as our GP, she became a friend and Godmother to our children. She was a kind, generous and caring person. She was always so down to earth and super thoughtful - she always remembered birthdays.

You were a wonderful doctor and friend at the Totara Hospice to the late Sid Simpson 2004, your caring attitude will always be remembered.

I first met Eileen Anne when we both worked in the lab at Green Lane in 1970 and she has been a steadfast and faithful friend ever since. A truly good person has left this earth far too soon.
