I knew Eileen through the Auckland Hibernians. I always found her a truly lovely and loving woman. She was always supportive to me when I was secretary to our Hibernians branch, often sending nice little encouraging messages. My sympathy to Clive and all the family. Keeping you all in my prayers. Lovely memories of a very kind funny lady who made me very welcome in Auckland and supported me in my time of trouble and grief. May Clive and her family be very consoled by the memories of a life lived for the benefit of so many people and may Eileen reap the reward she so justly deserved. Rest in peace dear friend.

Eileen was a loving and gentle person who always had cheer in her heart. On every encounter with her at Church she would share with me the great pride she had for all of her children and grandchildren. Family was a word spelt with a very big capital letter!! I will miss her cheer and my love and prayers go out to all who knew her.

Aunty Eileen, I have such fond memories of a caring, gentle and loving lady with such a beautiful soul.
You will be missed by many Aunty Eileen, you have given so much over the years to so many people.
We lived across the road from Aunty Eileen & Uncle Clive in our childhood days and have many good memories of the family. My parents Des & Dorothy Collins, from memory met you through the Catholic Church when you arrived in Mairangi Bay and developed a great friendship together.
I will miss catching up with you at Takapuna Church when I am in Auckland visiting my Aunty Ann.
I am very sorry that I cannot be with you on Friday to celebrate your life but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Clive and Family at this very sad time.
RIP Aunty Eileen, you will be missed.

Aunty Eileen was a woman who loved us all.As her niece she helped raise us, keep us in check on our many adventures and always had praise for anything new we learnt. She had enormous faith, loved in her church and this showed in who she was as a person. She has a special place in my heart. My love to Uncle Toa and the family in this time of grief. Always and forever.
