Judy and I send our condolences at this sad time for you all. Edward was a good colleague and I always enjoyed his comradeship. I guess I will never forget that moment in the Timaru Court when I sold him that property at 7 Branscombe Street. I am truly delighted that the family had such a great time living there, and you two did wonders with it. We send our love

To Jenny and family, my deepest sympathies are with you at this time. I will never forget my association with Edward at RSM. I remember as if yesterday, listening to him dictate from our secretaries desk. It was akin to listening to a sermon delivered from the pulpit, and hellfire and brimstone did not seem unlikely some days!. He could compose a dialogue like no other! His eloquent vocabulary often sent us hurriedly searching for a dictionary. To this day I often think, what linguistics would Edward use, as he was a true master. A great man has joined the heavens and may he keep them on their toes.

A great guy. We had some lovely dinner parties at Branscombe St in the early 70s. Eddie was always great company and we are sorry that he has gone. Our condolences to Jenny and the family at this sad time.
